The Rope Circle program has been designed into a flexible multi-leveled ongoing "Open Study Groups", progressively building upon each level and allowing prospective students to drop in at any point in the group training. For students who miss any classes, you will be able to pick up where they left off last. with it hindering their training.
Students in each level/group will be required to take a Competency Test, administered periodically throughout the program that will allow them to progress to the next level/group.
* We will may ask new students with no rope experience to take a one-time introduction class that will teach Shibari/Kinbaku philosophy, history, foundational ties, basic rope safety, communication and consent. Once this introduction class is completed, students will be allowed to join the Beginner Open-Study Group.
* Students with prior rope experience who are interested in joining our on-going study group, will be asked to demonstrate their rope knowlege and placed in the appropriate group based on their skill level.
* For students wishing to progress to the next level open study group, competency testing will be administered periodically throughout the program. You will not be able to move on to the next level without showing proficiency of the current levels' material.
