Rope Circle's Code of Conduct
SAFETY RULES BETWEEN STUDENTS
Students please take care to always negotiate your interactions and boundaries, and exercise good judgment
Consent is sexy, always ask before touching and again negotiate before tying
Rope bondage can be a dangerous activity, please be aware of both the physical & emotional risk
Always respect someones No or SAFE-WORD
Bottoms, please DO NOT suffer silently, speak your truth. ALWAYS feel free communicate before, during and after a scene. You are your riggers greatest teacher and guide
Riggers, please be able to listen to your bottoms during all part of rope class or session, this is as much a part of the art of Shibari /Kinbaku as is the technical knowledge
Treat your fellow students with respect, both inside and outside the training area
Please consider a moment of "After Care" for your partner at the end of a rope session, this means taking a little time to sit and check in with them about the experience.
