Founded in 2018, the Rope Circle is dedicated to providing traditional training in the Japanese art of Shibari. We offer regular classes, workshops, intensives, and events as part of building the Rope Circle community in the Bay Area and beyond.
IN-PERSON CLASSES
All course material has been designed to progressively build a deeper understanding of Shibari/Kinbaku by developing strong foundational skills. Skills covered in this course include floor ties, rope handling techniques, and communication, with a strong emphasis on intimate connection between partners.
Our approach allows students to progress easily to more advanced techniques such as suspension bondage, in a safe and thorough manner.
